Brian Jennings wins the Vets event with Mick Kershaw, Steve Gregory and Mike Dixon in close (ish) attendance. John-Paul Hotham doing well in the Seniors Open section despite suffering a puncture.

Holmfirth Mountain Bike Challenge

2005

Mick Kershaw, John Colman and Mike Dixon rode this for the first time this year. A surprisingly tough course taking in Holme Moss but with lots of off road too. It was supposed to be a leisure ride for our group, John Colman telling us the night before that it wasn't going to be a race. So when he attacked with 5 miles to go, we let him win.
