Matt Clinton put in cracking performance's on both climbs to claim 1st position and show  why he is the National Hill Climb Champion. Thank you to all riders who participated in this event, every one of you put in a great effort. We had some very talented young riders in the event, which was great to see. I hope you all enjoyed event and will hopefully see you  all return next year.

Also my wife Marie and son Callum for the numbers and result board. Thanks for making this event a success for me as a first time organiser. Also thanks to Steve Woodrup of Woodrup Cycles for putting up some of the prizes. Thanks to Nutra Mulch for allowing spectator vehicles to park in their entrance on Arthington Bank, and also to the New Inn at Eccup for the use of their car park too. A few of our members stayed after the event for a chat, pint and meal at the New Inn, I would certainly recommend it as the food was excellent. Finally, many thanks to all spectators who came out to watch the event.
