The YRC crack Mtb team, late 2006 , somewhere near Pately Bridge

 
To blow away the Xmas cobwebs, several of the YRC mtb elite squad braved the elements for a training ride in some of North Yorkshire's toughest terrain. This forgetable ride was nearly never reported, after Graham Heath lost his mobile phone/camera whilst on the ride itself. Luckily the phone was found and the pictures and memories retrieved.
The very select team for this early season ride consisted of (L-R) Russ Hepton, Brian Jennings, John Colman, Mick Kershaw, Mike Dixon, Steve Barnes............

Brian shouts encouragement to the persistant stragglers, John (TT ace) Colman and Steve (ex National Cyclo Cross Champ) Barnes. Both feeling the pace with this elite group.
When Steve has one of his many (convenient) punctures, John shows off his super fast tube changing skills........
......... half an hour later it's nearly done.
