races
The reliability rides have started so the racing season must
be just around the corner. BC, TLI and LVRC race calendars have
been published and are available on the respective websites
(see Links). A couple of TLI race series are noteworthy.
Croft Park Criterium Series - every Tuesday (Caterick
area) starting 25th April 2006. Handicapped Start.
The first race (of 15) at Croft Park is scheduled for Tuesday
25th April 2006 at 7.15pm. This is an ideal setting for those
of you new to road racing (see where we race). Enter on the
line only. This is the TLI race calendar entry for race 1.

Jackson Training Race series – Tuesdays at Boroughbridge
At last, the return of evening road racing in our region, similar
to the Joe Dalby Series, for those of you who can remember.
Unfortunately, it clashes with the Croft Park series. There
are two series (1 and 2) of 4 races with handicapped starts
and ran under TLI rules. Note that there is compulsory marshalling
at one event. This is the TLI race calendar entry for Series
1, Race 1.

Who’s
racing where
If you’ve pre-entered any road races could you let Mark Johnson know so
that we list who’s entered what and when. This may encourage
others to enter particular races so that one day we might get
a white and blue YRC train at the front of the paceline.
